The 16th Infantry Regiment is a line infantry unit of the United States Army. Established on July 28, 1916, during the Mexican border crisis, it was initially part of the National Guard but later integrated into the Regular Army in 1920. The regiment has been deployed in various significant conflicts throughout its history, including World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. It was deactivated during the post-Vietnam military reorganization in 1985 but reactivated as part of the Global War on Terrorism in 2006. The 16th Infantry Regiment is currently assigned to the 4th Infantry Division and is primarily based at Fort Carson, Colorado. Its motto is "Stonewall," taken from its association with Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson during the American Civil War. The regiment's distinctive insignia consists of a blue shield bearing a gold Roman numeral XVI surmounted by three mullets (stars).

This mugs heat-reactive surface reveals the designs once the mug gets
warm. The ceramic cup will go back to its original black outside and
white inside when it cools down. The C-shaped handle helps keep a sturdy
grip. It comes in one size – 11oz (0.33l) – plenty for that big morning
cup of coffee.
