The 68th Armor Regiment is a United States Army unit primarily composed of heavy armor units, such as M1 Abrams tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. Established in 1940, the regiment has seen active service in various conflicts, including World War II, the Korean War, and more recently, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. The regiment is part of the 3rd Infantry Division and is based at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
