Civil Ensign of Albania 1945 to 1992 - White Coffee Mug

The Civil Ensign of Albania (1945-1992) refers to the national flag used by ships of the Albanian merchant navy during that specific period. This version of the Albanian flag features a red field with a black two-headed eagle in the center, known as the Skanderbeg Eagle. The eagle holds a double-headed Byzantine imperial orb in its right talon and a scroll bearing the inscription 'Himn i Flamurit' (Flag of the Albanians) in its left. This design replaced the previous civil ensign used from 1914 to 1945, which featured a red field with a white crescent moon and a five-pointed star at the center. The Civil Ensign of Albania (1945-1992) was replaced by the current version in 1992 following the collapse of communism in Albania.
