Flag of Limburg Netherlands - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Limburg, Netherlands, is a heraldic banner that represents the Dutch province of Limburg. It consists of five horizontal stripes, arranged in the sequence of yellow (or gold), blue, red, white, and black from top to bottom. This design corresponds to the arms of the Duchy of Limburg, which has been the historical symbol for various territories under the rule of the Dukes of Limburg since the 12th century. The current version of the flag was officially adopted by the province of Limburg in 1986, replacing an earlier design that included a golden lion passant guardant (a crouching lion facing the viewer) in the upper hoist canton. The modern flag is used primarily for ceremonial and official purposes to represent the province of Limburg within the Kingdom of the Netherlands and beyond.
