The USAE United States Forces Korea (USFK), also known as the U.S. Army, is a branch of the United States Armed Forces specifically dedicated to military operations on the Korean Peninsula. It operates under the authority of the U.S. Department of Defense and functions in close cooperation with the Republic of Korea (South Korea) to maintain peace and security in the region.
