17th Training Wing (U.S. Air Force) White Coffee Mug

The 17th Training Wing is an operational wing of the United States Air Force responsible for training and education within the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). Based at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, the wing's mission encompasses basic military working dog handler training, basic airman combat survival school, joint terminal attack controller initial qualification course, and joint terminal attack controller instructor training. The 17th Training Wing also supports joint terminal attack control (JTAC) and tactical air control party (TACP) force development for the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and allied nations. The wing's motto is "Train to Win!" and its insignia depicts a handshake symbolizing cooperation between different branches of the military.
