185 Armor Regiment (U.S. Army) White Coffee Mug

The 185th Armor Regiment is a unit of the United States Army, specifically part of the Tennessee National Guard. It primarily consists of armored fighting vehicles and personnel trained for ground combat operations. Originally formed in 1947 during the post-World War II reorganization, the regiment has seen service in various conflicts, including the Korean War, Vietnam War, Iraq War, and Afghanistan War. The regiment's structure includes three separate tank battalions: the 2nd Battalion, 185th Armor; the 1st Battalion, 307th Armor (attached to the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team); and the 1st Battalion, 288th Armor (attached to the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment). The 185th Armor Regiment's main base is located in Smyrna, Tennessee. Throughout its history, the regiment has earned numerous awards and decorations for valor and exceptional service.
