The 32nd Infantry Regiment is an infantry unit of the United States Army. Originally formed during the Mexican–American War in 1846, it has seen significant action throughout U.S. military history, including the Philippine-American War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and more recently, Operation Iraqi Freedom. The regiment's lineage includes multiple campaigns and distinguished service awards, making it one of the most decorated infantry regiments in the U.S. Army.
