Soyuz TM-31 (Soyuz Programme) Black Coffee Mug

The Soyuz TM-31 was a spaceflight mission that marked the 31st flight of the Soviet Union's Soyuz program. Launched on October 20, 1994, it transported a three-person crew to the Mir space station for a long-duration stay. The primary objectives included delivering supplies and personnel as well as conducting scientific research. This mission was significant as it marked the transition phase of the Mir space station's staffing from solely Russian cosmonauts to an international crew, with U.S. astronaut Norman Thagard becoming the first American resident on a Russian spacecraft. The Soyuz TM-31 spacecraft returned to Earth on February 20, 1995.
