This specific mission was launched on June 26, 2013, and involved transporting three crew members to the International Space Station (ISS). The Soyuz TMA-15M spacecraft, which served as the vehicle for this mission, is a variant of the Soyuz spacecraft designed to carry three astronauts to orbit. It was the 120th flight of the Soyuz program and marked the beginning of Expedition 36 to the ISS. The spacecraft returned to Earth on November 11, 2013, successfully landing back on Kazakhstan's steppe.
