The USCGC Eagle WIX 327 refers to a barque-rigged sail training vessel operated by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Originally built in Germany as the Horst Wessel, it was captured by the U.S. during World War II and commissioned into the US Coast Guard Reserve in 1946 as the USCGC Eagle. Since then, it has served as a floating classroom and ambassador for the U.S. Coast Guard, hosting over 50,000 trainees and visiting more than 150 countries worldwide. The vessel is part of the Cutters fleet under the Coast Guard's Atlantic Area command and is stationed in New London, Connecticut.
