Flag of Ciudad Real Spain - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Ciudad Real, Spain, is a heraldic banner representing the historic province and current city of the same name. It consists of six equal horizontal stripes arranged vertically. The top three stripes are red (or gules) and the bottom three are white (argent). This design symbolizes the historical division of Ciudad Real into three comarcas, or districts, each represented by two colors. The upper red stripes stand for Alto Tajo, the middle white stripe represents Campo de Montiel, and the lower red stripes signify La Serranía. The flag was officially adopted on May 13, 1987.
