Flag of Kanagawa Prefecture Japan - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan is a rectangular banner divided into two equal vertical halves by a diagonal white stripe, starting from the upper hoist-side corner and extending to the lower fly-side edge. The upper half of the flag displays a solid red field, while the lower half has a white field with a black, stylized representation of Mount Fuji in the center, known as the Kanagawa-bunkazuru, or 'Kanagawa's 108 heroes'. This design symbolizes the legendary event of the heroic warriors defeating the demon Orochi and represents the unity and strength of Kanagawa Prefecture. The flag was officially adopted in 1967, following earlier versions that date back to the Edo period (1603-1868).
