The Flag of Koto Tokyo, Japan, is a symbol representing the special status of Tokyo as a metropolitan prefecture within the country. Its design consists of the Japanese national flag (NISHI-HOMJI or Hinomaru) in the center and the city emblem of Tokyo, known as Takeshirushi (Taking Mound Symbol), on the lower half.
