Flag of Leningrad Oblast Russia - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Leningrad Oblast (Russia) is a rectangular bicolor flag, divided diagonally by two equal stripes from the upper hoist-side corner to the lower fly-side corner. The top half of the flag is white, and the bottom half is azure (blue). The flag was adopted on March 12, 1998. It represents historical links to Novgorod principality in the white part and Saint Petersburg in the blue part, symbolizing the merger of these regions into Leningrad Oblast during Soviet times. This design replaced a previous flag that had a red field with the emblem of the Leningrad Oblast Soviet in its center. The current flag is a simplified version reflecting the regional identity and history.
