Soyuz MS-03 (Soyuz Space Programme) The Soyuz MS-03 is a spaceflight mission under the Russian Soyuz program, launched in 2016. This particular mission marked the 42nd flight of a Soyuz-FG carrier rocket, as well as the 127th crewed flight of a Soyuz spacecraft. It transported three astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission was significant for carrying Sergey Ryazansky, Andrey Borisenko, and Shane Kimbrough into orbit, who spent approximately 170 days on the ISS as part of Expedition 48 and 49. Upon their return to Earth, they safely landed in Kazakhstan on April 10, 2017.
