Soyuz MS-12 is a manned spaceflight mission belonging to the Soyuz Space Programme, which has been operational since 1967 and is one of the world's longest-operating human space flight programs. The Soyuz MS-12 mission was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on July 20, 2018, carrying a three-member crew: Aleksey Ovchinin (Commander), Nick Hague (Flight Engineer), and Sergey Prokopyev (Flight Engineer). The primary objective of Soyuz MS-12 was to transport the crew to the International Space Station (ISS) for a scheduled stay.
