The Soyuz TMA-16M mission is a spaceflight that was conducted as part of the Soyuz Programme, which has been operating since 1967. This specific flight was launched on December 21, 2015, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The primary purpose of the Soyuz TMA-16M mission was to carry a crew to the International Space Station (ISS) for the Expedition 46 and 47 missions.
