VP 8 Fighting Tigers (U.S. Navy) The VP-8 Fighting Tigers is one of nine Fleet Logistic Support Squadrons (VRC) in the United States Navy, serving under the Naval Air Force Atlantic (NAFA). Established on March 15, 1946, the squadron's primary mission involves conducting long-range maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare.
