The 140th Aviation Regiment is a unit of the United States Army Aviation Branch. Originally formed as the 140th Assault Helicopter Company during the Vietnam War, it has since evolved to its current role as a multi-functional aviation unit. The regiment is part of the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
