The 167th Cavalry Regiment is a military unit within the United States Army. It was constituted on July 5, 1921, in the National Guard of California and organized in San Bernardino on August 30, 1921. Originally designated as the 1st Squadron of Cavalry, it was redesignated as Troop A, 167th Cavalry (Mechanized) in 1953 and later as the 167th Cavalry Regiment in 1983. The regiment is part of the 40th Infantry Division and is headquartered in Victorville, California.
