The 19th Engineer Battalion is a unit of the United States Army's Corps of Engineers, specializing in engineer operations. The battalion can also perform map production, survey, and mine action operations when required. The unit's history dates back to World War I, where it was known as the 19th Engineer Regiment. Since then, it has served in various conflicts, including World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War, and more recently, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The 19th Engineer Battalion is currently stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
