Description/Blazon:

A gold-colored metal and enamel device, featuring a shield with the following blazon: Azure, two quills crossed in saltire Argent, penned Or, positioned between a golden eagle displayed and wreathed with laurel branches Or, and a lamp of knowledge Or enflamed Gules. Attached above the shield is a red scroll inscribed "HIGH ABOVE," and below the shield, a red scroll doubled back and inscribed "THE REST," all in gold letters.

Symbolism:

Dark blue and scarlet are the traditional colors of The Adjutant General's Corps. Blue symbolizes loyalty and perseverance, red represents courage, zeal, and leadership, white embodies integrity, and gold reflects knowledge, achievement, excellence, and high ideals. The quills represent the functions of The Adjutant General's Corps, while the lamp of knowledge signifies leadership and the unit's mission. The distinctive unit insignia was approved on August 10, 1988.
