The 65th Medical Brigade is a medical unit of the United States Army. It falls under the administrative control of the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) and provides command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities to support medical forces within a theater of operations. The brigade's primary role is to deliver combat support for sustained health care services to Army units in garrison and in combat. It was initially activated on June 15, 1967, and has since been deployed numerous times, including during the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Enduring Freedom. The headquarters of the 65th Medical Brigade is located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
