The Emblem of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic (Moldavian SSR), used between 1981 and 1990, was the official heraldic symbol representing the political entity within the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). The design featured a shield, divided into four parts, symbolizing the four historic regions of Moldavia – Bessarabia, Bukovina, Hertza, and Prut River Region.
