Flag of Limousin France
The Flag of Limousin is a symbol representing the historical region of Limousin in central-western France. The flag was officially adopted on October 25, 1978. It consists of three vertical stripes in the colors green (hoist side), white, and black, with proportions of 3:4:3. The flag's design reflects those found in many regional flags within France, using traditional heraldic colors often associated with rural areas. Although Limousin officially merged with other regions to form the new region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine in 2016, the Flag of Limousin continues to be a significant emblem for its people and supporters.
