STS 132 refers to the 132nd mission of the Space Transportation System (Shuttle) program, operated by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). Launched on May 15, 2010, STS 132 was the third flight in the final assembly of the International Space Station (ISS) and carried critical components to its Russian segment. The mission's primary payload was the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module 'Leonardo,' which delivered supplies, equipment, and a new component for the station's exterior: the Permanent Multipurpose Module (Poisk). Additionally, two spacewalks were conducted during this mission to install a replacement science power channel on the ISS and repair an ammonia coolant leak on the Hubble Space Telescope. The spacecraft used in this mission was Discovery, which has a history of 39 flights since its maiden voyage in 1984. After STS 132, Discovery concluded its active service with NASA and was retired to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Virginia.
