XIX Corps 1 (U.S. Army) is a military formation of the United States Army, serving under the Unified Combatant Command structure. Established on July 28, 1943, during World War II, it was one of several corps-level units raised for the invasion of Southern France as part of the 6th Army Group. The number 'XIX' represents its position in the order of seniority among U.S. Army corps. Over time, the corps has been disbanded and reactivated multiple times, most recently on August 17, 2020, under the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) as part of the U.S. Army Forces Command structure for training purposes. The corps is headquartered at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
