The 220th Military Police Brigade 2 is a unit within the United States Army that falls under the Military Police Corps. This brigade is one of two 220th Military Police Brigades, with the other being the 220th Military Police Brigade 1. The primary role of this brigade, as with all military police units, is to ensure the enforcement of laws and regulations on Army installations and in combat zones, and to provide security for prisoners of war and civilian internees. Additionally, they may be called upon to support civil authorities during times of emergency or unrest. The 220th Military Police Brigade 2 operates under the command of the U.S. Army's Combined Joint Task Force – Support (CJTF-S) in support of joint and coalition operations worldwide.
