Description
A shield blazoned: Per pale Azure and Argent, with a fleur-de-lis in fess of the same and a buffalo statant within a sable annulet. A silver scroll is attached below and to the sides of the shield, inscribed with the word "ATTACK" in blue letters.

Symbolism
The colors blue (Azure) and white (Argent) represent the Infantry. The divided shield's charges symbolize the war services of the consolidated units: the fleur-de-lis for World War I service, and the buffalo within the ring, adapted from the 92nd Division's shoulder sleeve insignia, for World War II service.
