The Flag of East New Britain is the official symbol representing the administrative region of Papua New Guinea known as East New Britain. This flag was adopted on July 16, 1975, following the country's independence from Australia in 1975. The design consists of a green field divided by a white diagonal cross, extending from the lower hoist-side corner to the upper fly-side corner and bisecting a central blue disk. This disk features five white stars arranged in an 'X' pattern with one star at the center. Each arm of the cross and each point of the 'X' are of equal length.
