Flag of Lausanne Switzerland - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Lausanne, Switzerland, is a banner representing the city of Lausanne, the capital of the canton of Vaud, and the seventh most populous city in Switzerland. It consists of three equal horizontal bands of blue, white, and red from top to bottom. This tricolor design reflects the traditional colors of Vaud and is an adaptation of the Swiss national flag, incorporating the Lausanne's emblem in the center. The emblem depicts a crosier (a pastoral staff used by bishops) on a white cross potent (an ordinary consisting of five crosses potent on one another). This symbol signifies that Lausanne was once an episcopal see and a seat of the Council of Lausanne in 1536-1549. The current design has been in use since 1980, when it replaced a previous version featuring a crowned golden lion passant on a red field.
