Flag of Lima Peru - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Lima, Peru, is the official symbol representing the capital city of Peru. It consists of three horizontal bands of white, red, and blue, with the national coat of arms centered in the middle of the flag. The white band at the top symbolizes purity, the red band represents valor (bravery), and the blue band stands for justice. The coat of arms features a shield divided into four quarters: one for each of the Incan rulers who reigned during the Spanish conquest of Peru. The central image is an armored knight riding a horse, symbolizing the city's patron saint, Martin de Porres. The flag was officially adopted in 1950 as a means to recognize and honor Lima's rich history and cultural heritage.
