Soyuz TM-3 (Soyuz Space Programme) The Soyuz TM-3 mission was the third crewed flight of the Russian Soyuz spacecraft as part of the Soyuz program, a human spaceflight program developed by the Soviet Union (later Russia). Launched on April 27, 1986, from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Soyuz TM-3 carried cosmonauts Vladimir Titov and Musa Manarov to the Mir space station. The mission aimed at expanding and maintaining the crew complement of the orbital outpost, as well as performing scientific experiments.
