The USCGC Mallet (WMEC-75304) is a 278-foot (85 meters) medium endurance cutter operated by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Built in 1966, the Mallet is one of the Sentinel-class cutters, serving primarily as a law enforcement vessel to ensure maritime safety, security, and protection of the U.S. exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and coastal waters. It is armed with 25mm guns, has a maximum speed of approximately 21 knots, and can accommodate a crew of up to 96 personnel. The USCGC Mallet's mission areas include search and rescue, drug interdiction, migrant interdiction, aids to navigation, and icebreaking during seasonal operations in polar regions.
