105e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the standard of the 105th Line Infantry Regiment of the French Army, crowned with a gilded eagle and inscribed with the battles that shaped the regiment.

Visual Elements & Composition

The field is a vertical tricolour of navy blue, white and red, with gold reserved for the lettering and the regimental detail. The gilded eagle at the summit is the largest gold element and draws the eye upward. Below it, the battle honours run in gold capitals, including IENA 1806, EYLAU 1807, HEILSBERG 1807 and WAGRAM 1809. The flat vector style keeps the lettering sharp and the colour blocks clean.

Meaning & Symbolism

The eagle is the emblem of the French Empire, and the standard carried the regiment's title and the name of Napoleon. Regimental standards of this period were presented by the Emperor himself, so the banner signals a direct bond between the army and its sovereign. The honours record the regiment's campaigns across the Napoleonic era. The unit grew out of the 105th Demi-brigade of the Revolution and was formally designated in 1803, so the design carries both lines of descent.

Shaped for a Single Toast

A shot glass is held close and taken in one motion, so the standard is read at close range, with the eagle near the rim and the inscriptions turning as the glass moves. The 1.5oz form keeps the whole banner in view at once, which suits a composition built around one central emblem and a column of gold lettering.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
