106e regiment dinfanterie de ligne - drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the flag of the 106th Line Infantry Regiment of France, a vertical tricolour carrying the names of the battles the regiment fought.

Visual Elements & Composition

Navy blue, white and red run as vertical bands across the flag, with the blue at the hoist. The tricolour dominates the whole composition, and the flat vector treatment keeps the three fields bold and even. Gold lettering picks out the battle inscriptions, among them BIBERACH 1796, GÊNES 1800, WAGRAM 1809 and MALOJAROSLAWETZ 1812. Later names such as LES EPARGES 1915, L'AISNE 1917 and MONTDIDIER 1918 run alongside them, so the flag reads as a continuous list of engagements.

Meaning & Symbolism

The tricolour is the national colour scheme of France, and on a regimental flag it marks the unit as part of the French line army. The inscriptions are the regiment's commemorative record. They run from the wars of the 1790s and the Napoleonic campaigns through to the First World War, and each name stands for a action the unit was honoured for. The flag is a formal tribute to the discipline and tradition of the regiment.

In Hand, Up Close

A shot glass is small and taken in a single movement, so the flag is seen at close range, with the blue, white and red bands filling the view and the gold battle names turning into sight as the glass is lifted. The compact 1.5oz form suits a composition built on a few strong bands and a dense column of lettering.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
