109e regiment dinfanterie de ligne -drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the flag of the 109th Line Infantry Regiment of France, a navy, white and red tricolour with gold battle honours embroidered across it.

Visual Elements & Composition

The tricolour runs in vertical bands of navy blue, white and red, and it fills the flag edge to edge. Gold is reserved for the inscriptions, which sit across the field in short, evenly spaced lines. Those lines carry ETTLINGEN 1796, FELDKIRCH 1799, MOESSKIRCH 1800, MEMMINGEN 1800, ARTOIS 1915, LA SOMME 1916, LA MALMAISON 1917 and CHAMPAGNE 1918. The flat vector style keeps the bands and lettering sharp and easy to read.

Meaning & Symbolism

The tricolour is the national flag of France, and on a regimental flag it expresses the unit's honour and its place in the French army. The gold honours are the regiment's commemorative record. The Napoleonic-era names come from the campaigns of the 1790s and early 1800s, and the First World War names mark the regiment's service on the Western Front. The unit was raised in 1792 from colonial regiments in Martinique and Guadeloupe, and it was dissolved in 1940.

Held Close, Read Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag is seen at near range, with the bands of colour filling the view and the battle names coming into focus as the glass is lifted. The compact 1.5oz form suits a design built on a few strong colour fields and a column of short inscriptions.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
