10e regiment de hussards-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the cavalry standard of the 10th Hussar Regiment, built on the French tricolour and carrying the names of its battles.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue, white and red fill the rectangular field in equal vertical bands, the arrangement of the French national flag. Small gold accents appear in the detailing. The battle honours are set into the design as text: LA MOSKOWA 1812, BAUTZEN 1813, DRESDE 1813, VAUCHAMPS 1814, L'YSER 1914 and TARDENOIS 1918. The flat vector style keeps the bands and lettering crisp, so the tricolour dominates and the inscriptions form the secondary layer.

Meaning & Symbolism

A cavalry standard carried the honour of its regiment into battle, and the names inscribed on this one record the campaigns it fought. The honours run from the Napoleonic campaigns of 1812 to 1814 through to the First World War battles of 1914 and 1918. The regiment was created on 4 June 1793, and its standard links the French tricolour to more than a century of cavalry service.

Holding the Shot

A shot glass is small and held close, so the tricolour bands and the battle names come up at eye level as the glass is raised. The vertical stripes read clearly at that scale, and the honours are easy to pick out in the moment before a toast. It brings a piece of cavalry history to the table in a compact form.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
