120e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the flag of the 120th Line Infantry Regiment of France, a tricolour banner carrying gold battle honours from the Napoleonic wars and the First World War.

Visual Elements & Composition

The flag is built from vertical bands of navy blue, white and red, and the stripes dominate the layout. Gold inscriptions run across the cloth, listing the honours in capitals: RIO SECO 1808, SANTANDER 1809, ARAPILES 1812, TOULOUSE 1814, LA MARNE 1914, VERDUN 1916 and CHAMPAGNE 1915-1918. The lettering is the main decoration, and it is spaced evenly so each name can be read on its own.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each honour on a regimental flag commemorates a battle the unit fought, and this one spans the Peninsular campaigns of 1808 to 1814 and the Great War. The regiment was first raised in 1808 during the Napoleonic era and was re-formed in 1872. Its nickname, le Sanglier des Ardennes, the wild boar of the Ardennes, is tied to the regiment's identity. The tricolour marks the banner as a French national colour.

Close to the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the battle names are read at arm's length, the way a regimental roll is studied up close. The vertical stripes follow the narrow body of the glass, and the gold lettering draws the eye first.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
