121e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design presents the colours of the 121st Infantry Regiment of France, a tricolour standard inscribed with battle honours and the regimental motto.

Visual Elements & Composition

Navy blue, white and red bands run vertically across the flag, and the stripes set the rhythm of the whole piece. Gold lettering sits across the cloth, with the honours and the motto placed in an orderly arrangement. The inscriptions read MONDOVI 1796, SARAGOSSE 1809, TARRAGONE 1811, LÜTZEN 1813, LA SOMME 1916, VERDUN 1917, L'AISNE 1917-1918 and AFN 1952-1962. The motto, Mons Lucens, meaning brilliant mountain, is the regiment's own phrase.

Meaning & Symbolism

The regiment was created in 1794 and reorganised as a line infantry regiment in 1809, and its honours follow that long service. The list moves from the Napoleonic campaigns through the First World War to North Africa between 1952 and 1962. The motto gives the colours their identity, and the tricolour marks the standard as a national one. The regiment was dissolved in 1969, and this flag keeps its record of service in view.

Close to the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the honours and the motto are read at arm's length, the way a regimental roll is studied up close. The vertical bands follow the narrow body of the glass, and the gold lettering catches the eye first.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
