124e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design depicts the ceremonial flag of the 124th Line Infantry Regiment of France, a tricolour standard whose gold inscriptions list the unit's engagements.

Visual Elements & Composition

Royal blue, white and red form the upright bands of the flag, and they carry the whole composition. Gold lettering is set across the stripes, with the battle names given in capitals: POLOTSK 1812, BEREZINA 1812, STETTIN 1813, VERDUN 1916, SOMME-PY 1918 and LA CHESNE 1918. The flag is also decorated with the Croix de Guerre 1914-1918, and the layout is formal and symmetrical, with the text as the main ornament.

Meaning & Symbolism

The regiment was created in 1810 during the Napoleonic era and was built from existing units, so its flag holds the honours of several campaigns. The Napoleonic names from Russia and Germany sit beside the battles of the First World War, and the Croix de Guerre records the unit's conduct in that war. The tricolour marks the standard as a national colour, and the regiment's honours carry its heritage in the French army.

Close to the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the battle names are read at arm's length, much as a regimental roll is studied up close. The vertical bands follow the narrow body of the glass, and the gold lettering draws the eye first.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
