The 125 Military Police Battalion is a United States Army unit under the Militarie Police Command, a branch responsible for ensuring law and order within military installations, as well as conducting law enforcement operations during contingency and wartime operations. The 125th MP Battalion, stationed primarily at Fort Bliss, Texas, supports the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility, with capabilities in military working dog operations, counter-drug activities, border security support, and civil disturbance response. Its mission includes protecting life and property, maintaining discipline, enforcing law and order, preventing crime, and providing force protection for installations and personnel under its command. The battalion is a part of the 82nd Military Police Brigade.
