126e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the colour flag of the 126e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne, a French line infantry unit with roots going back to 1793, rendered as a clean flat vector image.

Visual Elements & Composition

The field is built from the French Tricolour in three vertical bands of royal blue, white and red, with a small amount of gold picked out in the lettering. The rectangular flag fills the frame, and the striped pattern is the first thing the eye reads. Across the banner sit the regiment's battle honours in gold capitals: BEREZINA 1812, ARTOIS 1915, AUBÉRIVE 1917 and ITALIE 1918. The lettering is set in a formal, evenly spaced layout, so the inscriptions read as a record of campaigns rather than decoration.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each battle honour records an engagement the regiment fought in, from the retreat across the Berezina in 1812 to the Italian front in 1918. Together they trace the unit's service through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The regiment is also linked to the white bison, a symbol associated with strength, endurance and close unit spirit. The overall look belongs to the military heraldry of the 1810s to 1910s, when regimental colours carried this kind of inscribed record.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag is seen at arm's length as the glass is lifted. The vertical bands of the Tricolour run straight down the curve of the glass, and each inscription is read at close range, one name at a time, as the glass is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
