128e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the flag of the 128e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne, a French line infantry regiment of the First Empire, as a flat vector tricolour with its battle honours inscribed in gold.

Visual Elements & Composition

The flag is built from vertical bands of royal blue, white and red, with gold reserved for the lettering. The rectangular field fills the frame, and its striped structure leads the eye across the cloth. The battle honours run across the banner in gold capitals: POLOTSK 1812, LA BEREZINA 1812, LÜTZEN 1813, BAUTZEN 1813, MAURUPT 1914, TAHURE 1915, FORÊT DE REZT 1918 and ROULERS 1918. The inscriptions are set in an orderly, evenly spaced sequence, so the flag reads as a formal record.

Meaning & Symbolism

The honours trace the regiment's service from the Napoleonic campaigns of 1812 and 1813, through to the fighting of the First World War. The Polotsk and Berezina names belong to the retreat and campaigns of the Russian front, while Lützen and Bautzen mark the German campaign of 1813. Line regiments of the Napoleonic era carried colours like this as the focus of unit identity, and the names on the cloth were a list of what the men had survived.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag is seen at arm's length as the glass is lifted. The vertical bands of the Tricolour run down the curve of the glass, and each inscription is read one name at a time as the glass is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
