129e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the regimental colours of the 129e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne, a French infantry unit that served from the Revolution until 1977, as a flat vector tricolour banner.

Visual Elements & Composition

The banner is built on the French national Tricolour, set in vertical bands of royal blue, white and red, with gold used for the inscriptions. The rectangular field dominates, and its striped structure governs the layout. The battle honours are lettered across the cloth in gold capitals: ZUCARELLO 1795, LOANO 1795, KRASNOÏ 1812, LA BEREZINA 1812, LA MARNE 1914, VERDUN 1916, LE MATZ 1918 and AFN 1952-1962. The lettering is evenly spaced and formal, so the names read as a roll of service rather than decoration.

Meaning & Symbolism

The regiment was raised in 1793 as the 129th demi-brigade during the French Revolution, and its honours run from the Italian campaigns of 1795 through the Russian campaign of 1812 and the First World War, to service in Algeria between 1952 and 1962. The unit served as a line infantry regiment under the First Empire from 1811 to 1813 and again from 1873, until it was dissolved in 1977. The banner stands for that long military heritage and for the national identity the Tricolour carries.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the banner is seen at arm's length as the glass is lifted. The vertical bands of the Tricolour run down the curve of the glass, and each battle name is taken in one at a time as the glass is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
