137e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat vector regimental flag in the French tricolour, its vertical bands carrying a column of gold battle honours from the Napoleonic era to the twentieth century.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue, white and red run in vertical bands across the whole field, with the blue at the hoist. Gold inscriptions stack down the surface in capital letters: LÜTZEN 1813, BAUTZEN 1813, HANAU 1813, LA MEUSE 1914, CHAMPAGNE 1914, VERDUN 1916, L'AISNE 1917, DEFENSE DE DUNKERQUE 1940 and AFN 1952-1962. The numerals give the eye a clear vertical rhythm, and the stripes frame each name.

Meaning & Symbolism

The 137e régiment d'infanterie was first created in 1813 under the First Empire, and it was later dissolved and recreated more than once. The names on the colour record its actions in the Napoleonic campaigns, the First World War, the defence of Dunkirk in 1940 and service in North Africa. The flag also carries decorations including the Legion of Honor and the Croix de Guerre, and the regiment's traditions are still kept by the military at Fontenay-le-Comte in Vendée.

Held Up to the Light

A shot glass is small enough to hold close, so the tricolour and its gold lettering are read at arm's length, one name at a time. The tall vertical bands follow the upright sides of the glass, and the honour roll runs down the vessel as it is raised for a toast.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
