145e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

Blue, white and red bands run the full height of this flat vector standard, with three battle honours set in pale lettering across the centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

The field is divided into vertical stripes of the French tricolour, with a fine accent of gold at the edges. No single band dominates, so the eye moves evenly from left to right. The inscriptions are the focal point: LOANO 1795, LÜTZEN 1813 and WURSCHEN 1813, each set as a short, bold line. The dates set the regiment's story across two very different eras.

Meaning & Symbolism

The regiment is the 145e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne, also known as the Régiment de Maubeuge. The unit was created in 1795 as a demi-brigade and reconstituted during the First Empire, which is when the Lützen and Wurschen honours of 1813 were earned. Its colours were lost with the regiment itself in 1914, when the flags were burned at the siege of Maubeuge rather than fall into enemy hands. The design is a tribute to that end, and to the honour carried in the names on the cloth.

Why a Shot Glass Suits a Standard

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag is read at arm's length, one honour at a time, like a short toast to the men who carried the colours. The compact form suits a design built on three names and two clear colour fields. Keep it on a shelf or a bar cart and it becomes a quiet piece of French military history on display.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
