147e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

The tricolour of France fills this flat vector standard, its blue, white and red bands ruled upright and crossed by the battle honours of the 147th Line Infantry.

Visual Elements & Composition

Navy blue, white and crimson red run in strict vertical stripes, with the white band sitting at the centre of the field. A thin touch of gold appears as an accent. The stripes are the dominant element, and the inscriptions sit within them as bold, short lines. Five honours are legible: GOLDBERG 1813, CHAMPAGNE 1915, VERDUN 1916, LA SOMME 1916 and TARDENOIS 1918. The dates run in order, from the Napoleonic period to the closing months of the First World War.

Meaning & Symbolism

The 147e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne was created in 1793, in the years of the French Revolution. Its colours carry the names of the battles in which it distinguished itself, and the list opens with Le Boulou in 1794 and Loano in 1795. The design is a tribute to a unit that served across the Revolutionary, Napoleonic and Republican eras, and the tricolour ties that service to the nation as a whole.

Reading the Honours Up Close

The flag is read at arm's length here, one honour at a time, since the glass is small enough to hold in one hand. The stripes carry the eye straight down the side, and the names come round like a short toast given in turn. Set on a shelf or a bar cart, the piece gives a regiment's century-old record a place in an everyday room.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
