148e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

Three vertical bands of blue, white and red make up the tricolour, with four battle honours printed across the flag in capitals.

Visual Elements & Composition

The flag is built from straight, equal vertical stripes, and no other shape competes with them. Blue sits at the hoist, white in the centre and red at the fly, so the eye reads the bands in order. The honours are set in plain capitals across the stripes: GOLDBERG 1813, L'AISNE 1914, ARTOIS 1915 and DOBROPOLJE 1918. The lettering is the only detail on the surface, so the stripes and words carry the whole design.

Meaning & Symbolism

The 148e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne traces its lineage to a line infantry regiment of 1813, and the 148e RI was established in 1887. The tricolour is the national flag of France, and the honours name the actions the regiment fought in. Goldberg in 1813 opens the list and Dobropolje in 1918 closes it, more than a century of service that spans the Napoleonic era and the First World War.

Where the Glass Meets the Flag

The bands are the most striking part of this design, and a glass of this size puts them at arm's length and in the hand. Each honour can be read as the drink is held, one name after another. The stripes are printed in full around the body, so the tricolour is in view whichever way the glass is turned.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
